Welcome! This blog was born out of the need to talk about the messiness of life, as well as the beauty that comes about as a result. I’m a Georgia peach (hence the name) and I’ve seen over the course of my life how us Southern women often feel that we have to hide the messy bits of our lives and present the perfect peachiness. But I have come to believe that this inauthenticity only leads to feeling inadequate, unnecessary competition, and self-sabotage. So I’m embracing life as a messy peach and sharing it with anyone who wants to join me in that journey.
So if you’re still with me, here’s a little bit about me. I am a 26 year old woman living in Atlanta, Georgia while finishing my undergraduate degree in politics. The plan, as it stands now, is to attend law school after graduation. I was born and raised here in ATL, but I lived in Nashville, Tennessee for several years and consider it a second hometown.
I plan for this to be a place for me to share life discoveries and lifestyle ideas. I’m going to share the things I’m thinking about and my thoughts on things going on in pop culture and the news. I’m also going to share what I’m reading, watching, listening to, and doing. Let me know what you think about what I share here by leaving a comment and starting a discussion!
